The entire Salesforce Ohana is excited and can’t wait for the event to start. Most of us have already booked our tickets and all set to experience the best four days of the year. Four days of innovation, inspiration, giving back and learning. With 2,700+ sessions covering every role in every industry, opportunity to witness latest product innovations, thousands of Trailblazers to learn from, and meeting your Ohana; Dreamforce 18 is everything a Salesforce enthusiastic wish for.
As Dreamforce draws up closer, planning your schedule is the most crucial thing to do. This is not a kind of event where you can just jump in with an open agenda. If you want to come home feeling like a king, you must ensure to prepare a must-do list before leaving for San Francisco. As CEPTES is a  Dreamforce regular, we can share some few key things to note for Dreamforce 2018.
Plan your Sessions
Dreamforce will spread across a huge area in downtown San Francisco. With the Moscone Center as the main hub, the event this year will expand to Marriott Marquis, InterContinental, the Palace Hotel, Hilton Union Square, the Park Central, and the Westin St. Francisco. With 2700+ sessions and a large geographical spread, attending all your favorite sessions could be tough at times. With thousands of Trailblazers spreading across session halls, you can expect delays, long queues and even at times housefull boards.
The only thing which may help you is planning out your sessions in advance and register for them. Attending back-to-back sessions will never work. Remember, you have to get from one location to another location. Try to be there at least 15 minutes before, as the entry for free spaces usually starts 10 minutes prior to a session. A little bit of research on the session will help a lot. Not only going by the topic, you must consider who is the speaker and what kind of information you can expect. Dreamforce is not all about attending sessions, always keep some free time to visit customer success expos to witness next-gen innovative products and product demos.
Map out Keynotes
Keynotes are one of the most popular and inspiring elements at Dreamforce. Every year we get to see few of the big industry leaders speak during the four day long conference. Though the lineup for this year Dreamforce is not yet clear, yet we can expect some big names sharing their stories and inspiring thousands in order to transform the way they think, work, and lead. Before going to the event, you need to prioritize the big keynotes and plan your calendar to accommodate them. You should reach at least 45 minutes before to occupy a front side seat. If in case you missed a seat, then you can watch it on the live screens inside the Dreamforce plaza. In case you want to spend more time in customer success expos exploring products or attending sessions, you can watch keynotes later either via Salesforce Live or YouTube.
Customer Expo
Every year Dreamforce witnesses some of the most innovative products. Before going for the event, don’t forget to do a handful of research on the partner companies or exhibitors who are showcasing their products. It is always good to note your preferred products and follow their social media updates just before Dreamforce to stay updated. It is always advisable to book a slot before the event to avail a personalized product demo or product understanding session. At times, it is very difficult to understand a product in detail while visiting a booth because of the rush. Note the booth number of your favorite products before visiting the customer expo.

Dreamfest
Dreamforce has plenty to offer when it comes to party and fun. Sponsor parties and the Dreamfest are two of the most eye-catching events. Dreamfest featured most of the popular bands and performers. So far, Salesforce has not revealed who are going to perform during this year Dreamfest, but as always it is going to be one of the most rocking events. You can take some time off from your regular sessions, and keynotes to enjoy a relaxed time with your fellow trailblazers.
