After a brief hiatus from acquiring valuable businesses, Salesforce is back with the acquisition of Vancouver based headless-commerce enterprise Mobify. In a recent development, Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Mobify.
Mobify is a B2C digital storefront platform designed for organizations to provide their customers with a headless environment. Mobify will extend the functionality of Salesforce Commerce Cloud by giving Salesforce customers the infrastructure to securely host and integrate their customized digital storefronts for improved customer experiences.
Mobify’s CEO Igor Faletski, stated in his blog that – “Upon the close of the transaction, we look forward to joining the Salesforce family and partnering with even more Salesforce customers to unlock the freedom and flexibility to differentiate their digital customer experiences”. This makes it Salesforce’s 64th acquisition, with this move solidifying the company’s dedication to providing customers with a digital-first brand interaction.
Considering the recent market shift and increased spend on e-commerce, the recent Mobify acquisition will help Salesforce offer enhanced customer experience.
