Salesforce Integration Cloud will make it easier for enterprises to target their customers with relevant content flow across business verticals. Salesforce has announced at recently held event TrailheaDX 2018 that, they are going to use MuleSoft (their recent acquisition) to surface relevant customer data and turn it into actionable insights in order to target potential customers through better content.
Salesforce explained that they are going to use MuleSoft’s technology to power its integration cloud. However, MuleSoft will keep on working on their Anypoint Platform to develop in its own vertical.
Salesforce’s integration cloud allows marketers to develop a detailed profile of their customers from various sources of data. This all can be accessed from one central system which makes it easier for the user to manage interactions and touchpoints without having to jump from app to app, and platform to platform. This allows enterprises find best ways to target customers with relevant information.
Lightning Flow is another integral part of Salesforce Integration Cloud. This allows developers build workflows around customer data. As it is a visual way to build processes, this makes everyone in the organization to understand the data. This results in increased productivity and less waiting time for the customers. Salesforce will allow developers to integrate Einstein Analytics and live updates with their apps, alongside third-party Quip live apps.
Bret Taylor, President and Chief Product Officer of Salesforce said: “Companies of every size and industry need to transform how they operate in the digital era. Salesforce Platform empowers our entire Trailblazer community, regardless of skill levels, to harness the latest advancements in technology and deliver the connected customer experiences that will take their companies and careers to new heights.”
